Bio-Inspired Information ProcessingBioanaloge InformationsverarbeitungOur group Bio-Inspired Information Processing is located at the Technische Universität München (TUM) and is part of the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience in Munich (BCCN). The main focus of our research is information processing in nervous system, in particular in the auditory system. We develop computational models of inner ear as well as models of auditory brain stem. Possible applications of our research are improvement of speech recognition algorithms and improvement of coding strategies of cochlear implants.
